Hmm, I wanted to try something different - yet I fear change. I'm not sure about this new template, but we'll try it out even if it's just for today. There are some blogs out there that tend to make my eyes wander or hurt and I don't want that. Please let me know what you think.

it looks sweet, well done
Thanks Will - I got this from blogger-templates.blogspot.com - so I can't say it's original or anything, but I'm glad you like it!
:)
Love. It.

all honesty? While I do like this template for what it is, I just don't think it works with your blog. It just doesn't seem to agree with your writing and more particularly with your images, whether they be pretty little posies or buxom avocados.
Your last format seemed much more suited with cool and welcoming greens. And while you are Nervous Girl, the greens always seemed calming. They framed your pictures, showing them off while also cementing them in place. This one sort of feels like an HR power-point presentation on employee benefits -black and white, with pinstripes and a pop of color so as to say, "sure it's ok to have style but mostly conform".
But that's me. What the hell do I know? I'm sure you'll do what works best for you.
Hey, I appreciate the honesty and the reasoning. I'm gonna keep searching for something "just right" but might stick with this one for a little while. I do agree that it seems like there's a bit too much white, and I'd like to have more of a border around each post, and something about it doesn't seem as intimate somehow. But then again, I do like the header and the font quite a bit. So... I'm indecisive - thanks to everyone for giving their opinion!
I like it just fine. I didn't know blogger had added such new and improved template options. I hope you are doing well. I'll talk to you soon!
Oh dear. I fear this time you really are talking about me. I know, I know. My blog hurts my OWN goddamn eyes, but I am stubborn and traditional. You know, a Capricorn. I think I would need time to get used to ANY new template, so it's hard to say anything specific positive or negative about this one. I'm used to the old one...but I'm sure I'll get used to whatever new one you decide on.
loves it.
dont ever leave well enough alone sweetie...
